Home in a Basket
Home in a Basket is a restaurant business system created for a fictional food service that focuses on delivering southern home cooked meals. The overall goal of the business system was to create a southern kitchen aesthetic that represented simplicity, hospitality, and comfort. This was achieved by using warm and welcoming colors and typography, as well as a welcoming typographic logo.
The overall goals and values of Home in a Basket were to convey a since of hospitality, simplicity, and comfortable familiarity. With this in mind the development of a color palette was focused on using colors that were warmer and gentler on the eyes.

The visual research included looking at a lot of already existing home cooked food delivery services and aesthetic inspiration from traditional southern kitchens, food, and even family recipe books.
